Dogs hold such a special place in lives of our clients. We know they deserve a peaceful and dignified end of life. We never want your dog to feel like they are at a doctor’s visit, so a full examination will not be performed. We will discuss their symptoms with you and reassure that the timing is right before we proceed.

At Home Euthanasia Process for Dogs
The service can take place wherever you and your dog would feel the most comfortable- their bed, your bed, the sofa, the living room, etc. If they still have an appetite you can certainly offer them a special meal before we arrive. They can continue to have food or treats when we’re there.
We will give a relaxation dose first as a subcutaneous injection. Over the next 5 to 10 minutes, your dog will feel completely calm and pain free and will gently fall asleep with you by their side. Once they’re sleeping deeply, we will administer the final medication intravenously. Your dog will not feel the intravenous injection nor will they be aware that the final medicine is being given. The final medicine takes only 1 to 2 minutes but is completely painless. The veterinarian will confirm that your dog has passed using a stethoscope. We will then make the clay paw print. When you are ready, we will carry your dog to the truck with comfort and dignity using a stretcher if needed.
Our Service and Pricing
Angel Veterinary Services provides at-home euthanasia services for pet owners located in the greater Phoenix Metro. Our veterinarians understand how emotionally overwhelming it is to say goodbye to your family member and we will help your pet in the most gentle and dignified way, without the stress and anxiety of the clinic environment.
Angel Vet was Established in 2010 and we have been serving the community ever since. All of our veterinarians are pet lovers, owners and know that our pets become part of our families. They mean the world to us. Even though we understand that their lives are shorter than ours, it is still so devastating when we must say goodbye.
I truly believe that we must be strong enough to set them free if they are facing an illness from which they cannot recover or if they are hurting and painful and not improving with treatment. They give us so much and ask for nothing in return. I started Angelvet because I know that being at home when we say goodbye is so much better for them and for us as well. I wouldn't want it any other way for my own pets, and I feel blessed to be able to offer this service to other families when they must part with their precious companions.
