Pet Loss
Grief Support

When we part with a beloved pet, saying goodbye always feels far too soon. Below we provide information and resources for individuals dealing with the loss of a pet.

At Angel Vet, we understand that the loss of a beloved pet can cause a degree of grief that we never knew existed. For many of us, this grief can be overwhelming.

Grief has a way of making us feel alone. In these painful times, there is comfort in the words and wisdom of others. The words of others have a way of helping us see that we’re not alone and that we’re not the only ones struggling to find our way through complex grief. Words can not take away the pain, but knowing it’s something others have gone through can be slightly comforting.

“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.”

Washington Irving

“The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief. But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love.”

Hilary Stanton Zunin
